A prize winner at the 2003 ‘Artists of the (Columbia) Gorge’ Show.

Sculpted and cast components, found objects, foam, kitchen scrub pads, glass “jewels”, plastic tubing, vinyl lettering, and paint.
Measures 12 ½”wide x 8” deep x 15 ½” high. $2,500.

The irony of this play-on-words inspired this piece. It talks about our most cherished, but misplaced, hopes and ambitions. It has to be seen up close and studied to “get” the subtleties here, and to perceive the word “ego” and other imagery hidden in the “chalice of life” at the base of this piece.
