“In God Money We Trust” Sculpture / assemblage. One of a kind. 2002. Gypsum, sheepskin, metal rods and chain, foam, cardboard, and paint. Measures 14” x 20’ x 15” tall with protective Plexiglas dust cover and a heavy hardwood base. $3,900.

This is the first piece that includes the “sheeples”. I created these half human and half sheep figures to express the herd-like mentally that I perceive is encouraged in the American public.
This piece talks about one of the taken-for-granted manifestations of our culture: the worship of money. Many are driven by this worship, regarding money emotionally as the real source of their power, and depending on it for their ‘salvation’.
