This piece expresses the mystery and the remote wild beauty of the rain forest, as well as the devastation and ugliness that is left when it is destroyed.

Because of my use of iridescent feathers and plastics to express the mystery and ever changing rhythms of the rain forest, it was very hard to photograph it and get an accurate picture that really shows off this piece’s beauty.
